NSNP Occupations In-Demand Stream – Category B
Applicants must:
- Register in the EE (Express Entry) system;
- Score a minimum of 67 points according to NSNP criteria;
- Have a job listed in the NS In-Demand Occupation List and have at least one year of relevant full-time (or equivalent part-time) paid work experience in the past six years;
- Hold a Canadian high school diploma or equivalent, with overseas qualifications verified through Canadian educational credential assessment;
- Achieve a CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) level 7 in English or French, equivalent to at least 4 IELTS band scores of 6. Language test results must be valid within two years during the application process;
- Have sufficient funds to settle in Nova Scotia and provide a genuine, personalized settlement plan.
NSNP Labour Market Priorities Stream
Applicants must:
- Receive an intention-to-invite from NSNP through the EE system, requiring:
- Valid EE profile;
- Meeting specific requirements of the NS Labour Market Priorities category, and
- Selecting NS as the intended destination for immigration in the EE system.
- Criteria for each selection may vary based on labour market needs, and applicants must meet specific standards for each selection round;
- Meet minimum work experience requirements for entry into the EE system;
- Have legal status in their current country of residence;
- Prove sufficient funds to settle in Nova Scotia, pay immigration fees, and travel expenses.
