Invest CAD 150,000 to establish a business in Nova Scotia
Applicants need:
- Be over 21 years old at the time of application;
- Intend to live in Nova Scotia long-term while owning and actively managing a business in Nova Scotia;
- The net assets are at least 600,000 Canadian dollars, and the assets are legally obtained and can be transferred to Canada at any time, verified by a third-party agency designated by NSOI;
- Be able to invest at least 150,000 Canadian dollars to establish a business in New Province;
- Have at least 3 years of active management experience as a business owner (at least 1/3 equity) or more than 5 years of senior management experience in the past ten years;
- At least CLB5 in English or French, with test scores taken within 2 years before submitting the EOI;
- Possess a Canadian high school degree or above or equivalent overseas academic qualifications. Overseas academic qualifications must pass ECA academic certification, and the academic certification must be at least within 5 years before submitting the EOI;
- Complete the online Expression of Interest (EOI);
